How long do box turtles live?

Here is an exciting article from the New York Times about a reptile survey on Long Island, NY.

There was an eastern box turtle (just like Mademoiselle Cherbourg) who was first marked 90 years ago in 1921 by the naturalist John Treadwell Nichols and found on the recent survey this year!
